Is foot care only for individuals with diabetes?
Not at all. While we are specially trained in diabetic and advanced foot care, our services are available to individuals of all ages and health backgrounds. Whether you require routine maintenance, have specific foot concerns, or simply wish to maintain overall foot health, care from a Registered Foot Care Nurse can benefit everyone
Is foot care covered by OHIP?
Foot care services are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). However, if you have private insurance that includes foot care, you can submit a claim for reimbursement. Alternatively, you may claim the expense as part of your medical deductions when filing your taxes. A detailed receipt will be provided—either printed or emailed, according to your preference—which includes my full name and professional registration number for insurance or tax submission purposes
What do you accept as payment?
We accept cash, cheque, e-transfer,VISA, Mastercard and American Express
What is the expected timeline for mobile visits?
For mobile appointments, please allow for a window of approximately 10 minutes before or after the scheduled time. While we strive to be punctual, factors such as traffic, weather conditions, or unforeseen delays between appointments may occasionally affect arrival times. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
What if I require additional care for my feet?
While we possess extensive knowledge and expertise in foot care, there may be situations where further specialized treatment is necessary. In such cases, we will gladly refer you to the appropriate healthcare professional or specialist to ensure you receive the best possible care.
Infection Prevention and Control Canada
We adhere to strict infection control protocols in accordance with IPAC Canada guidelines. All instruments are thoroughly cleaned, individually packaged, and sterilized using our medical-grade autoclave. For complete transparency and patient assurance, all sterilized instruments are opened in the presence of each patient prior to use
